Poverty Reduction in Developing Countries
No consensus but plenty of solutions
Michael Chibba


Michael Chibba is a Canadian who is currently Director and Practice Leader of Canadian International Development Consultants (CIDC). He recently founded the International Centre for Development Effectiveness and Poverty Reduction, where he concurrently serves as a Board Member. From 2001-2006, he served as Permanent Member of the Independent Investigation Mechanism ("Inspection Panel") of the Inter-American Development Bank (Washington, D.C.). And he has a long history of work in the development field spanning nearly three decades with service to a broad scope of organizations, including multilateral and bilateral institutions, the private and public sectors (including government service), as well as nongovernmental organizations.
